     Although some of these paintings are frivolous, most were undertaken as serious exercises in brush work and/or composition and/or color. I continue to add to and subtract from this section primarily because these pieces have been surprisingly popular since the site was opened in 1997, partly because although I’m not personally keen on non-representational art, I often find it instructive and entertaining.

     I’ve added six new grids to this section in July, 2007. As you may imagine, I’ve done a number of addtiional grid pieces, the vast majority of which were uninteresting.
