I respect your privacy for the same reason I ask you to respect my copyrights: it’s the right thing to do.
I don’t write cookies to your hard drive, and wouldn’t even if I could. I don’t gather IP addresses of visitors, and again, wouldn’t even if I could. My ISP (“intermittent service provider”) furnishes reports indicating the number of visitors this site receives from IP domains (e.g., smith.com, jones.com,) but individual visitors are and will continue to remain anonymous.
If you send me an E-mail message, I’ll reply, usually within a day or two, and thank you for your comments. Unless you’d rather I not, I’ll add your name to the admittedly small list of people to whom I send occasional news bulletins, but a.) you’re free to ask me at any time to remove your name from my list, and b.) I don’t now, nor ever have nor ever will sell, rent, or trade lists with other people, companies, or organizations.
I’m not equipped to accept credit card sales, so there’s no chance your financial information could be bent, spindled, or mutilated.
